Okira is a football prediction game played among friends. Each matchday pits you against another player in your league: you predict the scores of the day's matches, the quality of your predictions is compared with theirs, and the higher total wins the duel.
You must be 16 or over to use Okira.
An account is created automatically on first launch and requires neither an email address nor a password. You may then voluntarily add an email address in Settings to save and recover that account. Without this backup, the account remains tied to your installation of the app: if you uninstall Okira, change phone, or clear the app's data, you lose access to your account, leagues and history.
When using Okira, you agree to:
An account that breaks these rules may be deleted without notice.
You remain the owner of your player name and photo. You simply grant Okira the right to display them to the other members of your leagues, for as long as you use the service and for that purpose alone. No commercial exploitation, no transfer to third parties.
Fixtures, scores and odds come from an external provider (API-Football). This information may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and a match may be postponed, interrupted or cancelled.
The score used for scoring purposes is the one at the end of regulation time (90 minutes plus stoppage time). Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are not counted.
Okira does not guarantee the accuracy of sports data and cannot be held liable for standings affected by a provider error. In the event of an obvious anomaly, the affected results may be corrected.
Okira is provided "as is". The service may be interrupted for maintenance, may change, or may cease permanently. No continuous availability is guaranteed. As Okira is free and involves no payment, no refund is possible.
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher's liability is limited to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits liability for harm to life, bodily integrity or health, nor any rights guaranteed to you by law as a consumer.
You may delete your account at any time, without giving a reason: Profile → Settings → Delete my account. The full procedure, including if you no longer have the app, is described on the Delete my account page.
How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
These terms may be amended. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page, and substantial changes will be signalled in the app. Continuing to use Okira after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by German law, without prejudice to any more protective mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of habitual residence.
