You can delete your Okira account at any time, without giving a reason and without having to write to us. Here are the two ways to do it.
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no cooling-off period and no account freeze: the data listed below is erased the moment you confirm.
If you no longer have the app, or cannot access it, write to kankuc94@gmail.com with the subject "Okira account deletion".
Include the optional email address associated with the account, your player name and the name of one of your leagues: these details let us find the account. If no email address was associated, we may ask for one further detail before acting so as not to delete someone else's account. Requests are handled within 30 days.
Okira is a game of duels: each matchday pits you against another player, and the outcome counts towards their standings as much as yours. If deletion simply erased your presence, all your past duels would vanish — and the standings of the other players in your leagues would change retroactively, sometimes months later. One person leaving must not rewrite the history of those who stay.
That is why the leagues you played in retain a technical identifier with no name and no photo, shown to other players as "Deleted account". This trace contains no personal data and makes it impossible to identify you, contact you, or reconstruct your predictions — those are erased.
Deletion is irreversible. Your career score, your history and your place in ongoing leagues are lost, and a new account starts from zero. If you simply want a break, just don't open the app: nothing will be asked of you.
